Dana M. Silva
Ms. Silva has been a practicing attorney for over five years. She has been practicing with the Law Offices of Charles G. Smith since its inception in 2015, where she practices in the areas of business, employment, and general civil litigation. Ms. Silva has litigated numerous matters on the plaintiffs’ side resulting in awards to her clients in the six and seven figures. On the defense side, Ms. Silva has successfully defended matters for her clients for a fraction of the original demand.
Ms. Silva graduated magna cum laude from San Diego State University with a degree in Economics. She was named the Economics Department Outstanding Graduating Senior. Also, as a member of the policy debate team for two years, Ms. Silva competed in several tournaments winning Best Oralist at one tournament. As a student at Loyola Law School, Ms. Silva was a member of the Loyola Law International and Comparative Law Review and the Scott Moot Court Competition earning the award of Top Ten Brief before competing with the National team in San Francisco. While in law school, Ms. Silva also served as an extern to Justice Fred Woods, Second District Court of Appeals.
An ardent believer in giving back to the community, Ms. Silva has worked with the Cancer Legal Resource Center at Loyola Law School and the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles Domestic Violence Clinic located in the Santa Monica Courthouse.
